Seit 2009 läuft im Comic-Blog "Covered" eine große Coveraktion: Comiczeichner sind eingeladen, neue Versionen von bereits vorliegenden Comic-Covern zu erstellen.
Im Blog wird dann jeweils das Original und das Cover präsentiert:

Redaktionell betreut wird Covered von Robert Goodin, einem Comiczeichner aus Los Angeles. Sein Konzept des Blogs im Originaltext: "The intention of Covered is to feature a wide variety of artists redoing comic covers in their own style."
"Covered" ist offen für Zusendungen auch aus dem Ausland, hier eine Kurzversion der Guidelines:
- Any comic cover is acceptable to redraw for the Covered blog.
- It can be any genre from any country.
- The most interesting redos seem to be a juxtaposition of styles. Try taking on a cover that is a little out of your comfort zone.
- It would make my job a lot easier if you could provide a link to the comics.org entry of the comic you have redrawn.
- Lastly, I have been getting a lot of submissions, which is great. I have expanded how often there is a new post to Monday – Friday. However, I am still getting so many that I have to reject some.
